This is run by the Practice Nurses.

Diet, Cardio-Vascular and Well Man Clinics

These are all run by the Practice Nurses.

Travel Vaccinations

We are a registered Yellow Fever Centre.

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements. This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required.

It is important to make the initial appointment as early as possible - at least 6 weeks before you travel - as a second appointment will be required with the practice nurse to actually receive the vaccinations. These vaccines have to be ordered as they are not a stock vaccine. Your second appointment needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travelto allow the vaccines to work.

Minor Operations

Various procedures are available. Please see your Doctor for details.

Maternity & Ante-natal Care

Is provided by the Midwife based at the surgery. As soon as you know you are pregnant, you can either make an appointment direct with the midwife via reception or alternatively you can see a doctor first who will then refer you to the midwife.

The Midwife holds her clinics on the following days:

Thursday afternoons and booking clinic Tuesday mornings.

Child Health

The practice provides a full immunisation service and runs child development clinics along with the Health Visitors.

Child Development Clinic

Four Oaks Medical Centre - Monday, Tuesday & Thursday.

Contraception

All the partners provide advice on all means of contraception, including fitting cap / coils. This, like all the services provided by the practice, is completely confidential.

Physiotherapy

A fully equipped physiotherapy service is available.

Chiropody Service

Chiropody is available for our patients under the NHS. A private chiropody service is also available.

Health Visitors and District Nurses

Health visitors and district nurses are based at the practice and work closely with our doctors to provide a full range of services both within the practice and in the community.
